Working with agency 'Yellow Triangle', we produced a Marketing
Video to promote CAT's new forklift truck range to distributors
around the world. Developed from Yellow Triangle's initial
creative brief, our writer prepared a shooting script incorporating
the main selling points. Then it was off on location to Lincolnshire
to put the new range through its paces. Director, Steve Kelly,
wanted to achieve the same production values as a stylized car
commercial [at a fraction of the budget!].
A
camera crane was used to achieve sweeping camera moves of the
trucks in action. Miniature cameras were fixed to the forklifts
to show steering and suspension features whilst on the move and
improved visibility from the driver's point-of-view. Top Gear
meets F1!
